Racing yesterday from Salisbury and it was a strong showing from the stable. We notched up our 75th victory of the season with Billesdon Bess getting her head in front, and Opening Time ran a very good race to finish a close second,
Billesdon Bess, in the capable hands of Hollie Doyle, was away sharply and took the lead. She made all of the running and faced a strong challenge inside the final furlong but Hollie got her to find a little more to overcome her opposition--keeping on gamely to win. 'She ran very well over a trip and course that she has shown a liking for. Hollie gave her a brilliant ride and she showed great courage and determination to grind out the victory. We will hope she continues her good form as the progresses'.
Dropping back in trip to seven furlongs suited Opening Time as he ran a good second at Salisbury. He was away slightly slowly and was settled in behind the leaders by Sean Levey. He was encouraged to challenge the front runners at the two furlong marker and had every chance of being first to the line but just missed. 'This has been his best run to date and if he can repeat that next time under an even more positive ride he would be hard to beat.'
