Billesdon Brook has been in terrific form this year and looked to be back to her best when winning the Sun Chariot Stakes over the weekend. Having last run at Glorious Goodwood where she won the Oak Tree Stakes (Gr3), Billesdon Brook has really hit her stride on the gallops of late and looks to be back to her best.
This was a competitive field with the likes of Laurens, Iridessa, Hermosa and Veracious who have all won at the top level this year to compete with, but Billesdon Brook travelled well and went on to win by a length and a half.
This was our 11th Group One winner and Billesdon Brook’s second having won the 1000 Guineas last year over the same course and distance. Kept in training as a four-year-old, she’s a special filly and a pleasure to have at the yard. Many congratulations to her owners
