A very promising two year old in the shape of BOITRON doubled his tally to two from two under Andrea Atzeni. The son of Le Havre was away well and got into a good position in behind the leaders. He travelled well throughout and stayed on well under pressure. ‘I was very impressed with that effort and considering he was giving the second horse 16 pounds he had plenty to do. He is a lovely colt and will continue to improve. We will speak with Tim and the guys at Middleham Park and come up with a plan going forward but we need to keep in mind he will make up into a smashing three year old.’
The other winner over the weekend came from Ffos Las with ZALSHAH getting up close home. A lovely timed ride from Rossa Ryan saw him get his head in front. ‘He loves this trip and appreciates a bit of pace in his races. There is no reason he cant go on from here and win a few more.’
Today's action comes from Windsor with five runners heading to post. Including the fancied BURIDAN and MUSHTAQ.
