A busy Friday with runners at three meetings, including eleven time winner OH THIS IS US running in the Lingfield All-Weather Mile Championship
BATH
WILLA (2:20pm Sean Levey) is a filly we have always thought plenty of. She has done plenty at home and seems to find everything nice and easy at this stage. She will benefit for the experience but I feel she will be right there in the closing stages.
WAHASH (3:30pm Sean Levey) ran well in the Lincoln for a long way but never managed to get fully covered up. As long as he settles in running I think he could run a big race. He will pick up a big handicap when everything falls right for him.
WAR GLORY (3:30pm Seamus Cronin (5) has been a yard favourite for a long time and seems to always run his race. This looks an ideal spot for him and as long as he shows up he should be very competitive at the line.
COME ON LEICESTER (4:05pm Kieran O'Neill) came out of her last race well. The drop in trip should suit her and she has plenty of speed. I am hoping as long as her last race hasn’t taken too much out for her, she should run a nice competitive race.
LINGFIELD
OH THIS IS US (4:45pm Tom Marquand) won here two starts back and looked to take a liking to the track. He went back to Wolverhampton in between and for some reason doesn’t handle that surface. If he can bounce back from that run he should be very hard to beat as long as he gets a clear run through.
NEWCASTLE
FOX POWER (3:20pm Silvestre De Sousa) is a lovely colt who has done very well over the winter. This looks a competitive affair on paper but if he runs as well as he has been working I would expect a bold bid from him. This looks the ideal starting point to kick off his season.
ALLOCATOR (4:25pm Rossa Ryan) will be much better off in handicap company and this looks a good starting point. He seems to just gallop, the further he goes the better he goes. I would be confident he could run well up to the mile and a half.
