Mums Tipple
GOODWOOD

Mums Tipple (Frankie Dettori)
I was delighted with his run in the Wokingham and this race has always been the target. He’s got a good draw in five, has ran well at the track before, Frankie has ridden, and won on him, and I think he has a great chance in what is a typically competitive renewal. He’s due a big one.

Captain Cuddles (Sean Levey)
He was gelded prior to his latest run, where he ran well but would’ve definitely needed it, and I think there could be a bit of improvement in him. Seven furlongs on a track like this will suit and as long as it’s not too soft I can see him running a nice race.
4:45
Stratocracy (Ryan Moore)
He’s a very nice colt by Inns Of Court, who is a sire doing well, and the plan has always been to come here. His work has been very good and I expect him to go close, although the Charlie Johnston horse could be hard to beat.
Persica (Sean Levey)
He is another colt with a lovely pedigree and we like him a lot. This is a valuable Maiden, so definitely worth a shot, and he has a bright future, but will improve for the experience.
Chequers Court (Pat Dobbs)
I’ve been pleased with his work, and he’s a lovely moving colt who will have no problem winning a Maiden. That said, this is a good race and he’ll need it.
NEWMARKET

Bourgeoisie (Jamie Spencer)
She was unlucky not to win at Newbury last time, and in another couple of strides I think she’d have got there, so the step up to seven is a massive plus and I’d like to think she’d be more than capable of making her presence felt.

Hectic (Jamie Spencer)
I think seven furlongs is his best trip and he won’t mind if the ground goes soft. We’re going to hold him up and Jamie Spencer is the right man to do that. The Handicapper has dropped him another pound and he has a great chance if things go his way.
We’ve got a couple of runners at Lingfield where Major Major (7:15) is extremely well Handicapped and ran well at Newmarket last time. He should go nicely under Alec Voikhansky who takes a valuable 5lbs off. Zabbie drops back to seven furlongs in the 5:45 and is pretty consistent.
