Glorious Goodwood
GOODWOOD - THURSDAY
4:10
Macanudo (Andrea Atzeni)
He’s been knocking at the door and it’s about time he got his head in front, so we’re putting the blinkers on which will be a big help and I think the step up to seven furlongs will definitely suit. He was second on soft ground at Chester so should handle conditions and he could be very interesting on his Nursery debut.
Marroof (Hayley Turner)
I didn’t think he was fully concentrating on the job so he’s been gelded which should help and he worked well earlier in the week. He might not be drawn that well in one but he’ll give it his best shot and I’m hoping to see a better performance than last time at York.
5:20
Gaasyah (Sean Levey)
She’s a gorgeous filly from a lovely family and her home work has been smart. It looks a very hot Maiden, and she’ll have to be something special to win this first time out. Like most of ours, she’ll improve for the run, but we like her and she has a bright future.
