The racing calendar has never looked so exciting with so many top class races in such a short space of time – June really is a racing extravaganza and it’s all hands on deck here at HQ getting everything ready.
The Guineas meeting at Newmarket this weekend looks set to be two days of outstanding racing with the Group 1 2000 Guineas, Group 2 Dahlia Fillies’, Group 3 Palace House on Saturday and the Group 1 1000 Guineas on Sunday.
Threat is being saved for the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot in a fortnight’s time so our 2000 Guineas contender will the exciting MUMS TIPPLE. He won the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes at York last August in emphatic style and has matured well over the winter. He worked well this morning under Sean Levey and we are excited to see what he can produce on Saturday.
CLOAK OF SPIRITS will fly the flag for us in the 1000 Guineas, she has done really well over the winter and will have benefited from the race being run slightly later than usual. She has come in her coat and has been flying at home. She did a super piece of work at Kempton last week which has put her spot on for the race on Sunday.
