A good week for the team was started at Windsor on Monday night with COME ON LEICESTER winning impressively on the second time of asking. The daughter of Kodiac was settled in third place and travelled nicely in running before staying on really strongly up to the line under hands and heels. ‘I was impressed with how much more professional she has been. She did everything right in running and finished off well in the closing stages. She has taken a positive step forward and we can now look at the Royal meeting with her. I will keep her options open for now.’
Last night saw another winner under Tom Marquand with BULLINGDON taking the victory at Chelmsford for Denford Stud. ‘He had to do it the hard way, but was always just getting there up to the line. He will come on again for the run and I feel he will be suited to stepping up in trip. He has always been a nice horse and I think we can have some fun with him this year.’
Today's action comes from Bath and Goodwood. HUA HIN is having his second start having won at Nottingham first time.
