A well timed ride from Tom Marquand got MUSHTAQ up on the line. He was settled at the rear of the field and came with a strong challenge inside the final quarter mile. ‘He has always been a nice horse but he has taken time to wake up. He is still a touch laid back and I think he will improve again for this run. He will be much better again over further and I with another year under his belt we should have plenty of fun with him.’
With a couple of days to go before DANEHILL KODIAC takes on the Hong Kong Vase. Sean Levey has been very happy with the horse since he arrived in Hong Kong and is getting more confident of a solid run as the day draws nearer.
