Bosh winning at York
What a two year old season we are having! Another three juvenile winners in the last week!
NIGHT CANDLE recorded her first career success when scoring at Windsor last Monday for Al Shaqab Racing and Pat Dobbs. Having shown promise on her first two starts she put her racecourse experience to good use to score by half a length.
GROOM also scored on his third racecourse appearance at Salisbury the following day. He ran very well on debut but was slightly disappointing next time out. However the step up to six furlongs clearly brought about plenty of improvement as he won by a handsome 3 3/4 lengths going away at the line under Pat Dobbs for Mr Andrew Tinkler. Hopefully this flashy colt by Aclaim can continue to improve.
At York on Saturday the talented BOSH went one better than on his debut to score under Tom Marquand for J Sullivan and W Salthouse. Stepping up in trip to six furlongs he needed every yard as he got up to lead at the post, with the first two home pulling well clear of the rest of the field. A smart performance which showed a fantastic will to win - an exciting colt by Profitable.
Congratulations to all connections and long may it continue!
