Today at Newmarket saw PLANT POT POWER get off the mark in a competitive three runner nursery. 'He ran very well at Sandown on his first start but hasn't been able to build on that in maidens. I came here thinking he will have to improve plenty to win off this mark but he did it well in the end. He is a horse with confidence behind him could easily rack up a few wins after that.'
The JulieWood owned Colt INNER CIRCLE won well at Leicester yesterday under a fine ride from Sean Levey. He travelled nicely on the front end and looked a horse who appreciated the step over to Nurseries. 'He has always been a nice strong Colt and I hoped that off that mark he would be able to get the job done. He has pulled up well from the run and I think we now look at another nursery for him in a few weeks time.'
With a big day to look forward tomorrow, we have runners all over the country including a big day at Goodwood. TOORMORE is coming back after his very good fourth in the Sussex Stakes to run in the Celebration Mile. 'I am keen to see him win again as he has been consistent all year. His run last time was very good and back to Group 2 level I could really see him getting his head back in front. William has won on him before and knows the horse and it would be great to have another winner for Sheikh Mohammed.'
