Ehraz
2:30 G3 Albany Stakes
Land Of Summer (Pat Dobbs)
She’s a lovely filly who should be two from two because she put up a great effort in defeat at Kempton last time under a penalty and was unlucky not to win. The drop back in trip won’t be a problem because she can be quite keen and is a speedy filly. This is a Group Three, and it won’t be easy, but she’s smart and won’t be far away.
Powerdress (Sean Levey)
She won impressively on debut at the Craven meeting and we’ve deliberately kept her nice and fresh for this because she’s not the biggest and we wanted to be patient with her. She won’t mind the ground and I think she has an excellent chance. There’s not much between her and Land Of Summer.
3:05 G1 Commonwealth Cup
Ehraz (Jim Crowley)
I think six furlongs on quick ground is exactly what he wants and I was very pleased, if not slightly frustrated, with his effort at Newbury last time when he really rallied to the line. He’s always been a colt we’ve held in the very highest regard and has taken plenty of time to come right in his coat but he looks perfect now and this race is ideal.
3:40 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes
Sir Rumi (Rossa Ryan)
I don’t think he quite stays one mile six furlongs so he’s dropping back in trip and likes fast ground. It’s a very competitive race but he deserves to take his chance and is generally consistent so should go well at a decent price.Unibet 15 To Go is available on this race
5:00 Sandringham Handicap
Heredia (Sean Levey)
I love this filly – she really is a sweetheart and has now won all her three races. I was particularly pleased with her win at York last time on her first run back because she would have needed it so what she did was very good and she really finished her race well. The step up to a mile will definitely suit and if we think she’s a pattern class filly she should be up to winning in Handicap Company.
