Legendary Lunch
Legendary Lunch wasn’t right when he got beat at Windsor. He came back impressively to win the Woodcote and looks like the drop back to five furlongs will be no problem for him. I could see him running another big race on a more suitable track.
Steel of Madrid has improved with every run this year. He looks to have come on again from Newmarket and he is there to run a big race tomorrow.
Chief Whip has run consistently well all year, however this is a very competitive handicap and we will see if we have drawn the right side.
Palawan has had a little freshen up since his last run and it looks to have done him the world of good. He is down in the handicap, in great order and he should be right there at the line.
Oh This Is Us has won his last three starts in good fashion and is one who should keep improving. He is out of a mare I used to train and appears just as tough. It is one of the hardest races of the week to win, but I feel he has a good chance.
Storm Rising didn’t appear to handle the contours of Epsom. Back up to the mile, where he had run well previously he is in there with a chance.
Paris Protocol is not one to run too often, he likes to keep fresh. He ran very well at Sandown on his seasonal reappearance and this step up to the mile and a half should suit him ideally. He is in great form and should run a nice race.
Danehill Kodiac ran well at Newbury first up, but the tempo of the race didn’t suit the other day. He is a lovely horse who keeps galloping and should give them all something to think about carrying 8st 9lbs.
