Dapperling (Jamie Spencer)
She didn’t get the best of runs at Goodwood, where the ground was also pretty testing, but her excellent effort in the Super Sprint is very good form and while she’s stepping up to six, I think she’ll get it, and Jamie will ride her cold. She’s very tough, consistent and warrants respect.
Gaiden (Rossa Ryan)
I was a little disappointed with her at Goodwood last time where she did herself no favours by pulling way too hard and not getting home on the ground. But she’s much better than that and shouldn’t still be a Maiden. She ran well in the Marygate (Listed) at the track in May and this is such a valuable pot it’s worth a crack. Don’t forget she wasn’t far behind Relief Rally on her debut..
Love Billy Boy (Andrea Atzeni)
He’s a colt with plenty of ability, and we ironed out a few issues after his latest run at Sandown in the National Stakes. I was pleased with his work earlier in the week and he could run well at decent odds.
Persica (Sean Levey)
I like this colt a lot and was disappointed he didn’t win first time out, where he was very green before and during the race, so I backed him up quickly and he got the job done nicely at Salisbury. He won with plenty in hand that day and I think there could be more to come.

Blue Collar (Andrea Atzeni)
He’s getting better with each run, and I was delighted with him at Newmarket last time (over six furlongs) where he stayed on extremely well. The step up in trip is a plus and he should be of major interest on his Nursery debut off 77.

Royal Dress (Ryan Moore)
She’s a tough little filly who is consistent and tries hard. Soft ground seems to suit her best, but she’s versatile trip-wise and should go nicely under Ryan Moore.
