There’s no doubt about it, he was very disappointing at Newmarket last time and nothing has come to light. He was slow leaving the stalls and never seemed to get into a rhythm so we’re just going to draw a line through it. He posted two excellent efforts in Group One Company last season and won a big sales race over course and distance as a juvenile, so a reproduction of any of those would give a massive chance, and we’ve freshened him up at home.

He’s a colt by Pinatubo who has been showing up nicely at home and has plenty of zip. York two-year-old races are habitually competitive, but he’s ready to go and I’m looking forward to seeing what we’ve got. He’s quite promising.
Hatadora was put up 3lbs for winning at Windsor last time, which might not be enough to stop her in the 6:40 at Bath. She’s extremely consistent and Kevin Stott gets on with her well.
