A good double for the team yesterday from Bath and Chelmsford. The first of those was ALMOREB who managed to get his head up on the line to cause a dead heat. ‘He has been very consistent this year and seems to keep on improving. He took a long time to get out but when he did he picked up strongly to the line. He is probably better off being ridden a both quieter and so I will mindful of that in the future.’
The second winner came at Bath under Hollie Doyle. PAINT, owned by Lady Rothschild settled in midfield and picked up nicely to the line. ‘She seemed to appreciate the step up in trip and looked to finish off strongly. She should have no problem winning again off this evidence.’
Today’s action comes from Sandown with some nice chances all day. The two year olds are at centre stage with four taking their places including BATHSHEBA BAY who is coming off the back of a second place effort at Goodwood last time.
