Yellow Lion with winning connections
We have had a fantastic week so far, which was made even better yesterday by ending the day at Salisbury with a tremendous treble.
Our very own Ben Pollard rode his first winner in his first ever race as an amateur. We are so incredibly proud of him and all the hard work he has been putting in. He rode Always Fearless to victory in the opening race of the day and did this comfortably.
Our second success of the evening came through our two-year-old Kodiac filly Yeah Nah. She landed a classy victory on her racecourse debut under a strong ride from Sean Levey for owners Sullivan Bloodstock Ltd & Adrian Whittingham. This exciting filly was purchased by Peter & Ross Doyle at Tattersalls Somerville Sale last year.
And our final winner was Yellow Lion who comfortably cruised home under yet another brilliant ride from Alec Voikhansky. We’re incredibly glad that his owner-breeder Lord Carnarvon was able to be there on the day to enjoy the winning celebrations, especially as he sponsored the race.
Congratulations to all connections and a special thank you goes out to our entire team at home for all their hard work.
