Ower Starlight and connections
We are a very proud team here after having three winners in less than 24 hours. What a brilliant way to start the new month!
We kicked things off with a double at Kempton on Wednesday 1st March. The first one on the night was another win for Alec Voikhansky on Ower Starlight. Owner-breeders Tony and Jane Pitt were in attendance and were delighted with the result.
The second winner was debutant One Night Thunder, who won under David Probert for owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum. David Probert said he was a little green early on, but he “liked his attitude in the last furlong”. He will be stepping up in trip next time out, which Probert says, “will definitely help him improve” and that “he’s a promising one for the future”.
Our final win came the following afternoon on 2nd March at Newcastle where Great Bedwyn won from the front. He was ridden by Andrea Atzeni for owners Denford Stud. He is a stunning horse, and we cannot wait to see how he progresses this year.
Well done to everyone at home as well, it’s a great feeling when you see all your hard work pay off.
Now bring on the flat turf season, which is just four weeks away.
