Dark Thirty
We look back at another successful few days for the yard thanks to our four winners last week.
Optiva Star won again over course & distance as he stormed home at Brighton under a perfectly timed ride from Alec Voikhansky. It was great to see his owners Optiva Securities Ltd there on the day to celebrate his second win of the season.
Our next winner was Heartfullofstars, an exciting two-year-old filly by Starspangledbanner, who got her head in front to break her maiden at Goodwood under Sam Hitchcott for owners Merriebelle Irish Farm Limited. She landed this victory on just her second start, after finishing 2nd at Newmarket earlier this month.
Sam Hitchcott brought home another winner for us in less than 24 hours on Dark Thirty at Newmarket. This was also our second winner of the week for Coolmore Stud’s stallion Starspangledbanner. Congratulations to owners Martin Hughes & Michael Kerr-Dineen.
Our final winner of the week came through Major Major at Windsor for owners David Bannon and Partner. The three-year-old son of Iffraaj has won his last two starts under Alec Voikhansky. His victory delivered a lovely double to finish off a busy day of racing.
Well done and thank you to everyone at home for a great week.
