Magical Sunset (Pat Dobbs)
She ran a great race in the Sandringham Handicap at Ascot where she fared much better than her finishing position suggests and I’ve been happy with her at home since then. She’ll like this track and there’s been plenty of rain around which will definitely suit. She has a rock solid chance under Ryan.

Classic (Pat Dobbs)
He’s posted good efforts in both Handicaps this season and is starting to really come to himself. He was quite keen last time, but there looks to be a bit of pace in this race, so Dobbsy should be able to switch him off and if he relaxes, he has a respectable chance in what looks a very competitive race.

Aristia (Sean Levey)
You can draw a line through her run in the Middleton Stakes because she got a massive bump leaving the stalls and ended up losing both front shoes. She’s stepping back up in trip, but that won’t be an issue, and while this is a wide open race, she’s a high class mare and her work has been very good so I can’t see any reason why she won’t be bang there.

Sir Rumi (Kevin Stott)
I don’t think he stayed last time so the drop back in trip will suit and he’s been in pretty good form all season. The Handicapper has got him right where he wants but he’s consistent and has a solid each way shout.

Notta Nother (Sean Levey)
I was impressed with his attitude at Goodwood last time and he’s learning with each run. An opening mark of 80 means there’s no margin for error but he’s a smart colt who will hopefully improve for the step up to six.

Hectic (Sean Levey)
He didn’t appear to put his best foot forward at Goodwood last time so the blinkers are going on which will hopefully help him concentrate because he’s a horse with plenty of ability and this is his trip. He worked well in headgear the other day and has a great chance back in Class Three Company.
ELSEWHERE
We’ve got a few runners elsewhere including Zabbie in the 4:42 at Leicester. She’s not been in fantastic form in her last three runs but is back down to a decent mark and has a solid chance. Across at Nottingham, Fusterlandia will appreciate the drop back down in grade in the 6:42 and should go very well under Cieren Fallon.
