Having recorded a taking all the way success at Nottingham earlier this month under Silvestre De Sousa, SIAM FOX was delt a tough hand from the handicapper being raised a whopping 9lbs. However he took this in his stride and scored for the second time at Doncaster on Sunday. Given a superb ride by William Buick he settled in second, behind a tear away leader, before mounting a challenge inside the final two furlongs. He faced a sustained battle with the eventual runner up, but showed a superb attitude to stick his neck out and win by a head.
He is sure to improve again when stepped up in trip so we look forward to seeing what more this son of Folegandros Island has to offer.
