Everything that could go wrong did go wrong in the Sprint Cup last time so draw a line through that; as you all know, he’s better than that. He’s back up in trip, but has won over seven (furlongs) before and the ground is expected to quicken up. We’ve done hardly anything with him all week, so he’s nicely freshened up.

I thought he’d run better at Chelmsford last time, but he didn’t get the best of passages so I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He has a lot of speed, so we might make a bit of use of him and see what happens. The Handicapper has dropped him a couple of pounds and Alec also takes 3lbs off so he has absolutely no excuses whatsoever.
