THE Racing Post Trophy, Britain's last Group 1 of the 2015 Flat season, is being billed as the rematch between the one-two from Newmarket's Royal Lodge Stakes, Foundation and Deauville, but we hope that our own Tony Curtis might be able to upstage the principals in Saturday's feature at Doncaster.
Richard Hannon said: "Tony Curtis has 7lb to find with the big two, but Humphrey Bogart ran well against Foundation at Newmarket and we think this one is definitely the better of the two. He worked well earlier this week and goes there with a sound each-way chance."
Newbury bring down the curtain on their Flat season with the G3 Horris Hill Stakes, which has been a lucky race for us.
Hannon added:"We are two-handed this time around. Madrinho has done nothing wrong all season and just found the company too hot in the Middle Park, but he should appreciate going up a furlong, while, though Ginger Joe is still a maiden, he has shown promise and might nick some black type."
